Corrections Policy

To report an error, write to [email protected] with the article link, the statement at issue and, when possible, a supporting source.

- We evaluate every request. When a material error is confirmed — one that changes a figure, date, conclusion or the fairness of a piece — we correct it and add a dated correction note describing what changed.
- Minor fixes (typos, formatting) may be made without a note.
- Material changes are not made silently. Prior versions are preserved internally in version control.
- If keeping a piece online could cause harm while we verify, we may temporarily withdraw it and say so.
